Erciyes Dağı

Başı göklere Bundan yaklaşık 30 milyon yıl önce, toprak kalbini açtı ve

kızgın lavlarla birlikte kadim Anadolu topraklarının başına
taç olan bir dağ yükseldi. Bulutlu başı göklere, engin etekleri
tevazu ile değen medeniyetler tarihine uzandı. Asurlular da gördü heybetini,
Bizans da… Alperenler kışladı yamaçlarında, Selçuklular
güzelliğinden ilham, Osmanlılar ise güç aldı. Dört bin metreye
uzanan yüksekliği ile onun asıl vazifesi bir kadim şehri –bu
bir dağ… kadim şehrin adı Kayseri’dir- muhafaza etmekti. Yazı ayrı, kışı
ayrı güzel olan bu yüce dağın adı ise Erciyes oldu.

About 30 million years ago, the earth opened her heart and a

With an elevation of four thousand meters, its main duty was
to preserve this ancient city which is called Kayseri. And this
exalted mountain, whose summer and winter are individually
beautiful, is called Erciyes.
