When the cool breezes start to bloom in Tekir Plateau, it is heard that Erciyes
will be covered in white. This is actually good news. Because if there is no snow
on the Erciyes’ summit, the city loses a piece of its beauty. So, Erciyes gave
this magnificent, white piece which is hidden in his chest to Kayseri as a gift.
Today, 16 different winter and 13 different summer events are organized
in Erciyes. There is a slope whose snow depth reaches more than 1m and
whose angle changes between 10% to 50%. Mount Erciyes, which is rapidly
advancing on its way to become a ski center at wold standards, has become
home for adventurers who want to leave themselves free from the height of
three thousand meters.
The roads are kept open all the time to ensure transportation to Erciyes where
all kinds of facilities are available, many hotels are located and entertainment
venues are provided.
As you climb the summit by the cable cars, your heart fills with the excitement
of this magnificent experience. Erciyes has become an important ski center
not only for Kayseri and Turkey but also for the World with the latest tech-
nology slopes where all kinds of safety measures are considered and taken.
